This dictionary contains over 12,000 entries with more than 25,000 definitions and expressions which, adapted to the needs of young students, include examples to illustrate the use of each word. The syllable division and stress is given for each individual entry. The definitions provided are clear and simple, avoiding any reference that may be considered to be sexist or to constitute social or political discrimination. The dictionary includes synonyms and antonyms and will solve any doubt one may have regarding either grammar or spelling. Information is also supplied on how to conjugate verbs. If the verb is irregular, the user is referred to another verb in the dictionary that has an identical conjugation. If, on the other hand, no information is given about the conjugation of a verb, this means that it is regular. In addition, the dictionary features 54 full-page colour illustrations grouped into nine sections, which provide a graphic portrayal of the meaning of words within their context.
